We are very pleased to announce that we will be running a Stretching and Foam Roller Workshop on Sunday 8th March 2015. This workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to learn more about stretching and foam roller exercises that can help them at home. The workshop comes with a free hand out so you can replicate the workshop at home following the event.
Foam rollers are just starting to make their way into mainstream fitness and are a very useful tool for self massage. They act as a way to sports massage the whole body, working out lactic acid and other waste products that are stored in our muscles which cause aches, pains, fatigue and tightness. This workshop is ideal for all sports people – particularly for runners and is also very useful for preventing injury. We will also stretch using a variety of other techniques including using body weight and straps to allow the whole body to relax and recover. All equipment will be provided.
Time: 16:30 – 18:00
Location: Burpham Village Hall.
